Community Organising for Church Growth

In October 2020 we began an exciting project with the Centre for Theology & Community (CTC) and Waltham Forest Citizens, our local Citizens UK alliance of faith communities, schools, colleges and community groups.

This project aims to help us engage with our local community, listening together for the challenges and injustices local people are facing.

We are journeying with our Community Organiser and our Hub Church St Mary’s Walthamstow learning what it looks like to listen, organise and act together effectively.

Using the principles of community organising, we act to win changes on the issues we care about, seeking the Common Good and holding our political leaders to account while working with them to make positive changes.
